Start registering for gifts about six months before your wedding day. You and your fiancé should register for all gifts together. Pick several places to register, and go crazy with it. You may not get everything you register, but it is blast doing it.

Hint-Make sure whoever holds yours wedding showers, includes a list of all the places you're registered. Otherwise, people will get you what they think you may want or need. Also don’t forget about the Internet. There are some great places to register on-line, and it is very easy to track what has been bought for you.
